Bayer Living with Heart Failure Informercial

In the Bayer Living with Heart Failure project, our aim was to create four infomercials addressing key aspects of heart failure, including its management, side effects, and polypharmacy. The client, Bayer, sought to deliver crucial information in an easily understandable and visually engaging format, with a focus on educating viewers about heart failure’s nuances, symptoms, and effective solutions.

For this project, collaboration with other studios was key in creating storyboards and assets, such as characters and environments. The chosen color palette aimed to evoke empathy and urgency while adhering to brand guidelines. Clear typography was employed for easy readability of statistics and key messages.

My role involved blocking animations for video 3 and 4, as well as animating selected scenes. I experimented with 3D animations while maintaining a 2D look and feel by adjusting textures, materials, and lighting, successfully integrating them into the project.

One challenge was effectively communicating asset requirements for rigging and animations to artists unfamiliar with the process. This was addressed through clear explanations of the production process and continuous communication, resulting in a successful collaboration.

Ultimately, the infomercials effectively conveyed information in an easy-to-understand and visually engaging manner. The client reported increased awareness and found it easier to educate individuals affected by heart failure and their family members through the visuals.
